Helix is a robust and very low projection inset LED light for Helipad.
This product is designed for very high solicitation. The mecanical resistance allow to load more than 10’000kgs directly on the glass. With an increased static and dynamic load capacity, the HeliX reduces the possibility of damage. The HeliX also inlcude a InraRed light source for pilot flying with NVG.
This product and its forefather have been produced and are used in more than 600 helipads all around the world. It is available in a large range of colors, materials and power supplies. It is easy to install and needs no maintenance. The manufacturing quality guarantees a very long lifespan. The waterproofness has been elaborated to guarantee that no water or humidity enters. A special physical barrier guarantees that no humidity can come from the connection (WatBar). This inset LED light is very robust.

The HeliX series comes standard with an infrared light source specifically calibrated for optimal NVG performance. It’s not just an IR LED, but a complete optical system delivering an IR spectrum (radiometry) fully aligned with ICAO recommendations for visible part.

The HeliX glass is made from Schott borosilicate. It withstands over 10 tons of direct pressure. With only 3.8mm protrusion, it ensures maximum protection with minimal obstruction.
