The LTAL is a compact, high-intensity LED Airfield Traffic Light designed to provide clear, reliable visual guidance for aircraft and ground vehicles at taxiway intersections, holding positions, and other controlled movement areas. It features two red LED arrays that flash alternately (approximately 45 flashes per minute) alongside a single green LED array that burns steadily, enabling precise ATC-controlled signalling for stop/go instructions.

Supplied in a 230 VAC configuration (order code AL-LATL-RGR-230-FB) and mounted on a low-profile frangible bracket, the LTAL automatically adjusts intensity via an integrated photocell — operating at 100% brightness during the day and reducing to 10% at night for optimal visibility and energy efficiency. 

Separate power inputs allow independent ATC switching of the red and green functions, while built-in current-based monitoring triggers a dry-contact relay alarm if LED degradation reaches 25%. 

It is Compliant with ICAO Annex 14 and DIO VA01:2022, the LTAL combines robust powder-coated aluminium construction, low power consumption (20W Red / 12W Green), IP65 protection, and minimal maintenance requirements, making it a dependable, cost-effective solution for enhancing safety and operational control in demanding airport environments.
