The XM001 True RMS Ammeter was designed and developed to provide accurate commissioning and set-up of CCRs for Airfield Ground Lighting, specifically but not exclusively to be able to read the chopped waveform produced by phase-controlled thyristors used in most CCRs.
The XM001, being an in-line meter, avoids the inconsistencies often associated with clamp-meters.
The standard unit is for 6.6 Amp circuits, but we are able to produce ammeters for other currents (6.0Amps and 12Amps). The unit is supplied with a calibration certificate, and we also provide a re-calibration service.
Input: 240V 50Hz Via IEC type Socket with power switch and fuse.

Applications
The main function of the unit is to calibrate CCR current settings. It is more accurate than a clamp meter as it is attached in line measuring directly from the CCR itself. This allows you to check and perform the annual CCR calibration test.
