Base Plates and Couplings

A series of base plates and interchangeable frangible couplings to suit the ALS DTS range of LED light fittings.

Base plates are available in two sizes 168 and 300mm and there are two frangible couplings available (a standard version and a pole mounting version).

These are 2″ in diameter and manufactured in sturdy aluminum with an aircraft yellow paint finish.

Frangible (breakaway) couplings have a calculated yield point designed for specific applications on the airfield.

Most couplings, in combination with a clamping device or mechanism, provide both mechanical and electrical frangibility.

This combination provides protection and helps limit damage to the unit itself and any object that strikes it.
