The STM.804 Elevated Runway Guard Light (RGL) is a high-performance LED aviation lighting solution that provides clear visual warnings at runway holding positions. Featuring two side-by-side unidirectional LED modules, it delivers alternating yellow (STM.804.RGL.01(Y)) or red (STM.804.RGL.02(R)) flashes at 45–50 per minute. Fully compliant with ICAO Annex 14, FAA L-804, IEC TS/EN 61827, and NATO STANAG 3316, the fixture ensures safe ground operations in demanding airfield environments.
Built for long-term reliability, the STM.804 uses high-efficiency LEDs with up to 60,000 hours of service life. Its corrosion resistant aluminum body offers IP65 protection and operates from -55 °C to +55 °C. The unit provides precise vertical (0° to +20°) and horizontal (±20°) adjustments with secure locking, while its modular design enables quick maintenance without optical realignment. It is compatible with both series (6.6 A) and parallel (110/230 V) circuits, with optional monitoring and photocell functions available.
For off-grid or remote sites, the solar-powered STM.804 integrates a high-efficiency solar panel and battery system while maintaining full ICAO/FAA photometric performance. When paired with astronomical time relays such as the ASTRO series, the system automatically schedules operation based on local sunrise and sunset times, delivering energy-efficient, low maintenance runway guard lighting without external sensors or grid power.
